For those of us who can't actually buy a beach house to hang in on our summer weekends, there is the Delaware Inn. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. It is a short walk to the beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby. And the hosts are like the coolest relatives with a beach house that you wish you had.

My wife and I stayed the weekend at the Delaware Inn B&B for our anniversary. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach and the boardwalk / downtown area. We enjoyed the wonderful treats prepared by Sharon and staff as well as their hospitality and guidance regarding the town and area. The property was carefully cared for and immaculate. If we are back in the area, we will certainly stay there again.

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Delaware Inn.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay could not have been better. The weather was hit or miss but the Delaware Inn was outstanding. We loved our room (#7 - beautifully furnished). The house is very nice. Free bikes and beach accessories if you need them. The breakfasts were delicious and there was alway more than enough to eat.
It was a short and pleasant walk to the beach and boardwalk and we were very close to the shops and restaurants.
The innkeepers were very friendly and accomodating.
Very highly recommended. We'll be going back soon!
The Delaware Inn rocks! Beautiful house, amazing hosts, and great breakfasts (great tasting coffee with to-go cups, which is a really nice touch)! Every detail is thought of here, from the great toiletries, nice towels, robes, very comfy bed, to emergency flashlights (not that you'll need them but it shows how much they are thinking of their guests.)
The house has a really nice sitting area and a large porch where you can have b-fast when the weather is nice, or just sit out there to take in the sweet salt air. The beach is literally 2 blocks away and the main strip with all of the shops/restaurants also 2 blocks away, so the location could not be any better.
I just have to reiterate how great Sharon and Lois are - very cool people, perfect hosts - they made us feel very much at home yet away from it all at the same time - what more could you ask for!

We have stayed in our share of B&Bs in the past. This one was overall the best. Breakfasts were hearty with a great selection and personalized. Awesome and you always leave stuffed. They left out freshly baked desserts for you each evening. The rooms are very clean, spacious and modern. The location is great being so close to the boardwalk and close to the main strip, but not too close so it is quiet. Parking is convenient and the staff is super friendly. We loved it and hope to go back!
