“A Tiny Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

This very small sandwich shop/deli/specialty grocery store is just delightful. The food is fresh and superb. Frank, Louie and anyone working there could not be nicer. Call in your order mid day high season to avoid the wait, this place is instantly popular.

“more cookies, please”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Near my hotel, I stopped in and bought the lemon cookies. And parceled them out for breakfast over the next few days. The rest of the products looked good, too.

“Fabulous!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

First visit. Very friendly and courteous service. Took home 2 - #3 Sal's sandwich. Wish I would have bought another for today"s lunch.. The meat and cheese are sliced fresh and very tasty,
The taste and aroma of the Italian meats and cheese made the sandwiches the best ever.. It absolutely beats a sub/hoagie. Had the eggplant parm. also wonderful. As other people were saying, "the lemon pie was too die for." and was not watery the next day. I have to try the other baked goods next time. Keep up the great food and service.
Can't wait to make another trip to Rehoboth Beach next month. Jean , Bear, Delaware.

“Worth the trip off the Avenue!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

The friendliness of the place starts when you first enter, they greet you like old friends. Only wish we were hungry for one of their subs. Yet the baked goods were a nice treat for us to take on the road back to the DC area. Be sure to try their pepperoni cheese bread! Could be lunch by itself!

“GREAT addition! Loved every bite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

This place is such a find. We just got very lucky and the Saturday in August parking gods smiled on us as we doive by. We were very hungry for a good sandwich and this place is perfect. They make real Italian deli sandwiches to order. Great bread, great flavors, really nice guys. HIghly recommend the #2 and the #4 sandwiches. Also try to cannoli. So good.
