We had one night in Rehoboth Beach and chose Eden based on Trip Advisor opinions. Beautiful dining room - loved the booths on the side. We had a lovely table toward the back and could watch the rest of the room.

They have a great wine list, with a whole page of good quality half-bottles - a real plus for the two of us when we're dining out. We had the Clos du Val Cab Sauv which was very nice.

My fiance had two specials - a foie gras/duck confit ravioli appetizer and the rack of lamb, both of which were very good. I ordered the crab/lobster/mango salsa tower as an appetizer and was impressed with both the taste and the large amount of lobster and crab. I had a sockeye salmon special with maitake mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes which was also very good.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a most incredible dinner at Eden. We started with perfectly muddled mojitos at the bar and then were seated in the wonderfully etherial dining room. My husband enjoyed the most tender and juicy beef while I enjoyed the paella dish. Both were exceptional paired with spot-on wine recommendations. Thankfully, we'd left room for the most delectable key lime pie (desserts are made in-house) we've ever tasted. The coffee was of great quality too, come to think of it. The service was prompt, efficient, and courteous. The menu offers incredible balance between 'coutoure' food and modernized favorites. Take a power nap, eat light early in the day, and make an evening out of Eden!

“New York or Rehoboth?”

Feeling like we stepped off the beach and into a New York City Restaurant is the first impression. Second came the Forbidden Fruit Martini(pineapples and mixed berries infused in vodka) and the Mojito both outstanding after a hot day lounging at the beach. It only got better the food was prepared just right with great flavor blending and cooked to perfection.
The server was the best we have had at the beach, very knowledgable and friendly.
Finally the wine list was awesome with about 40 half bottles, 40 wines by the glass, and 120 bottles it was hard to pick out just what I wanted because I wanted to try so many. The manager kindly suggested a great bottle of cab franc that was just what I was looking for. AT Eden they do it right

Went to Eden for our 15th wedding anniversary. Can't beat the setting, private booths with soft curtains. Wine list is extensive and priced great. Server was friendly, but more important, very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. We like cutting edge food. Eden stepped up to the plate.

We ate at this pricey restaurant a few nights ago and chose it because of the recent great review in the Washington Post. All started off well-- very pleasing decor, soft music, curtained booths along the walls. Wine list was great, the menu looked impressive and the wines the server recommended were very good. My "artisanal cheese appetizer" was excellent-- the textures, flavors and colors of the various cheeses, cherries in bourbon sauce, blue berries and truffle honey playing off each other made for a very sensual experience. Things were looking great and I was anticipating the main course

My wife ordered crab cakes, which she thought were excellent.

With high hopes I ordered the $37 dollar New York strip steak which came with a mushroom porter sauce. I was not happy when the huge hunk of meat arrived cold and covered with an equally cold and lifeless sauce. Back it went to the kitchen, to reemerge a few minutes later barely luke warm; I was not about to try for a third time. I poked at it a little but, it was a lost cause.

We did, unfortunately stay for an apple-berry cobbler type dessert topped with ice cream. Again Eden failed. Very little apple or berry filling but lots and lots of hard and dry cobbler topping.

Ambiance, wine list and menu notwithstanding, from my point of view, if a restaurant can't even serve its food hot despite two attempts, it has failed. That Eden charged a premium price added insult to injury.
