We tried Zebra based on reviews read on this site. Overall dining experience was about average. Service was good to very good. One appetizer was quite good while the Caesar salad came off as quite unremarkable. The risotto, again average and a pasta dish (Ametricana) was spicy, as it should have been, and tasty, with the pasta being done just about right. Disappointing finish though: The restaurant hadn't received its expresso maker and so we finished with a dessert of lady fingers and whipped cream and coffee. However, the coffee, although not rendered via the espresso process, appeared to have been an espresso grind.

This is a really wonderful Italian restaurant. Dining on the lovely front porch or in their very attractive dining rooms is a treat. The food is better than delicious and the quality is there. Their pasta's are all homemade and the sauces are excellent. The Chicken Milannese spectacular and the Veal outstanding.

We highly recommend this restaurant for food, service, atmosphere, quality and price. Don't go to Rehoboth Beach without visiting Zebra.

The food and drinks here are overpriced and fairly unremarkable. A non-generous portion of Bucatini Bolganese was $28 - and the sauce is not much better than something you would find at any other Italian restaurant. The drinks were overpriced at $7 plus for a beer and a vodka soda was $11 - which is fine if you are in a great restaurant and the food is remarkable - but neither was the case here. The one shining star is the Wedge Blue Cheese salad - - surprisingly not Italian in nature but definitely notable and the highlight of an otherwise tasteless and expensive meal and dining experience. The service is uneven but the hostess at the front was certainly helpful and friendly.

We dined outside on the patio which was lovely. The servers were professional and friendly. The food was exceptional, flavorful, beautifully presented and nicely portioned. The meal was not rushed yet the service was not at all slow; it was perfectly paced dining.
