“Typical East Coast Beach Town with some twists”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

A kitschy little beach town with a boardwalk and lots of fast food joints, but it also has some wonderful, small boutique restaurants serving unique food. Our favorite attraction is the Dogfish Head Brewpup and the nearby brewery, that is pretty much the only reason we go to Rehoboth any more. Traffic on peak summer days is awful to and from DC or Philly.

“Winter at rhe beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We often visit Rehoboth Beach. Mostly in the winter. It's not as crowded and they still have eateries and shops open ( not as many as summer ). The town has been updated and is beautiful. Decorated so nice. We were snowed in for a day while we were there( GREAT ). Always a good stay at the Avenue Inn. Lots of good eating and shopping. Always look forward to going back.

“Better Than Summer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

Shops were great. Santa on the boardwalk was fabulous! Decorations for the holidays were lovely. Don't take a stroller to any restaurant. They are not permitted.

“Love it here, not as busy as Ocean City, MD.”

Rehoboth Beach is a very nice small quaint town, with many shops lining the main street. Not as busy as nearby Ocean City, MD.

Fun for the whole family!

“Lighthouse Inn B&B 20 Delaware Avenue, Rehobeth Beach, DE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very friendly, competent innkeepers Matt Turlinski and Jerry Sipes. We had received a 2 night stay for an anniversary gift from our daughter. It was very comfortable, beautifully appointed details from the landing on the top floor (seafaring motif - a large treasure chest ornate with sea shells etc..)throughout the lovely "Key West" room(replete in every nook and cranny with decorative flamingos, sea shells, fireplace) which was at the top of the house just under the roof with a lovely view of the ocean. We could hear the waves. It was so romantic. And the last evening, we came "home" to two glasses of brandy and some delicious chocolates, set out so very beautifully on a silver tray. Breakfasts were delicious, homemade banana jam was my favorite. Sat in the beautiful front porch,at bistro type tables, very picturesque and hospitable! Can't wait to come back.
