Owner description: Funland is a family amusement center located on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. A family owned and operated business since 1962, Funland provides family fun at reasonable prices for those who visit us each summer. The park offers great entertainment for the whole family, featuring 18 rides, 13 midway games, an electronic shooting gallery, redemption center, Skeeball, and an arcade with video and pinball machines. Our season begins Mother's Day Weekend and runs through Labor Day. In the early part of our season (May into June), our closing time varies; we reserve the right to close early due to factors such as weather and lack of crowds! Normally in season, July 4th - Labor Day, we close around 11 PM.

“This Is A Throw Back Amusement Park on the Boardwalk A+++++”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Everytime we go to Rehoboth, we have to go to this amusement pier. It is so cheap relative to other similar types of ride parks or piers.
I think it averages out to about ,50 to $1 a ride if you buy the $20 book of 100 tickets.
The thrill ride is a type of claw. There's lots of small kid rides, a good and cheesy haunted house ride (evenings only), a tempest, a parachute type ride, a crawl through gym, bumber cars and so many others.
There are also the typical boardwalk games for a buck a try. The difference here is that the kids typically win a prize or at least have a good shot so it's not a complete rip off.
I think that one of the ways that they keep prices down is that they have some green energy (I believe solar panels) generating much of the energy for the amusements.
Regardless, if you have kids and you are visiting the Delaware Beaches - this is a must do at some point.

“A family tradition for decades”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This is a cheesy, long in the tooth amusement park but this is exactly why we and so many people love it. I can remember being there as a kid and teenager and my sonhas spent his childhood and teenage years going there. We hit all the rides, do all the games, send waaay too much money. But we come back year after year and wouldn't miss it for the world. Only criticisms: would love more pinball (at least recently they installed a few tables!) and hate the Disneyland-imitation going on at the Haunted House. Please, let us enjoy its primitive appeal without having to buy the pictures and the teeshirts!

“Great Place for Kids to have fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Took my grandson there and he loved it. The boats are his favorite. We can't wait for them to open up and take him back. It's clean, prices are really good too and my grandson had a blast.

“11 years of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We try to come here before the tourist season is in full force. I've been bringing my kids for almost 11 years. We make a night of it starting with the rides, then the games and of course a visit to candy kitchen, ice cream and pizza. You can't beat the price. The only drawback is that lines can sometimes be over an hour long.
