Easy to get on, friendly people, inexpensive. But, "you get what you pay for." Greens conditions in August were poor (more like fairways on better courses.) Few bunkers, but many trees. Still, a fair outing in a congested beach area.
Old Landing is a links type course with numerous tight fairways and small greens. Although not long, you will use all the clubs in your bag. It is kept in good condition, but don't expect fairways and greens of the expensive, top-notch courses. A great value!
If you are looking for a cheap round of golf at the beach, then this is your place. This is by no means a resort golf course and it's priced accordingly. The greens need to rolled and the tee boxes need to by cut. Weed killer was help eliminate the clover that is seen throughout the course. There are some bare spots in the fairways, so you will have to roll the ball. But for $37 to ride, it's alittle hard to complain to much. If the owners would add a little TLC, this really could be decent course because there are some very nice holes. The back tees are 6100 and most holes are tree lined but you can find you balls if you stray off the fairways.
