“Amazaing last minute visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I decided last minute (9am that morning) to take a quick overnight trip to Rehobeth Beach for our anniversary. A quick review of the area hotels led me to book an evening at the Bellmoor. I'm so glad we did.

Saul answered the phone that morning and helped me select a room (The Carolina Suite) which was appropriate for our anniversary. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made the process easy (I usually book online). His room descriptions were helpful because the pictures on their website don't really do the rooms justice.

We arrived that evening around 5:30. Julius welcomed us and checked us in. He explained all of the amenities and even provided a quick tour of the hotel and took us to the room. Once there, we were blown away with the view and attention to detail throughout the suite and for that matter, the hotel in general.

Julius helped us make a selection for a dinner location by reviewing menu's they had on file and discussing his personal experiences at each of the options. His suggestion was perfect.

Upon returning from dinner, Julius and the staff assisted us in locating a liquor store so we could grab some scotch as a night cap. They went so far as to actually call around to several locations to find one that was open. When we returned, we were greeted by a very nice bottle of champagne and a very nice card from the GM wishing us the best on our anniversary and thanking us for staying with them.

The views of the town and the ocean from our room were great. The room was VERY clean and well stocked. The "Club Level" was fantastic and definitely provided a sanctuary from Rehobeth's active night scene. Card access to the floor was a nice touch.

Parking on site was plentiful and even had a charging station for Teslas and a standard charging port for other plug in hybrids. Points for being progressive.

Breakfast in the morning was very nice with a lot of options from eggs, bacon and sausage to french toast and made-to-order omelettes.

My only regret was not staying longer. We are already planning future visits. This could easily become our quick getaway spot from this point forward.

Room Tip: The Hotel is excellent on every floor but the Club Level adds a level of serenity and refinement wit...

Every May for several years now we have organized a three-day getaway for about 30 of our USNA classmates and spouses, including golf, shopping, exploration of historic sites, and great dinner parties at nearby restaurants. Each year, our guests (all in their late 70s and 80s) rave about the Inn and urge us to book there again to following year. The corridors and common rooms are just lovely in an elegant traditional way. The breakfast room is most comfortable and the full breakfast (included) excellent. The garden courtyard is especially fine for BYOL happy hours. Some of our non-golfers have raved about the full spa available on the second floor. The hotel manager, Drew Burslem, has done yeoman service in arranging discount fees at the finest golf courses. Covered parking is also a bonus.

It's tough to find a rental in rehoboth and my family decided to last minute get away to enjoy the beach and fun land for the children! We were able to book the day of on a Saturday because the hotel has a two night minimum. The room was beautiful, clean and bright! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel

We LOVE this inn!! We come back year after year and have never been disappointed. Professional, friendly staff, with beautiful decor and comfortable suites. Breakfast is sumptuous especially the omlets on the weekend! The spa has wonderful treatments if you need a bit of pampering. It's an easy walk to the beach, boardwalk, and any number of fine restaurants. You can't go wrong with service and surroundings like this!

Room Tip: Check out the adults only level... Wonderful well appointed suites, some with balconies.

This is the second time that we've stayed at the Bellmoor. It is a charming treasure on the DellMarVa coast in Rehoboth. A small hotel/B&B with a relaxing garden, wonderful breakfast and lovely, comfortable rooms. Only one block off the main street and a couple blocks from the beach. We highly recommend, especially for couples who love the beach and yet want something a little more quaint and sophisticated.

Room Tip: We like the garden rooms on the balcony level. For those who are older, the garden level would be b...

We have stayed at the Bellmoor several times over a number of years, at various times of the year. Most of our stays were not in summer. As I actually grew up in lower, slower Delaware, have not lived there in years, we frequently made trips to visit family in off season. The Bellmoor, was the Dinner Bell Inn, I believe in my childhood, and was always a special event restaurant. The Inn now has a lovely and friendly spa and some very nice accommodation in walking distance to everything in Rohoboth, but with some quiet spots as well. I would highly recommend.
