“Perfect Girls Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

8 Mamas traveled to Rehoboth Beach for the half marathon the first weekend of December and stayed at the Bellmoor Inn. I joined this group who had stayed here the year prior and highly recommended it. I can see why! We changed the number of rooms we had reserved a few times as our group number fluctuated and the hotel was very accommodating to us. The hotel is PERFECTLY located - we drove two vehicles that we didn't need to move the entire weekend because everything was walking distance (race expo, restaurants, race start/finish, the beach, shopping, etc). The hotel was so nicely decorated for Christmas and the "fireplace" room was perfect for sitting around and relaxing or talking with new and old friends!
The hotel had a "runner's breakfast" set up the morning of the race bright and early - if you are a runner who is traveling to a race you know what a special treat that is to not have to worry about your bread, peanut butter and banana!
The breakfast on Sunday morning before we left for home was amazing as well: omlets, sticky buns, pancakes, bacon, coffee. . . perfect!
The staff was always so friendly and happy to take our group picture in front of the large tree many times throughout the weekend! Can't wait to go back next year!

Was fortunate to spend three nights last week for a Select Registry conference. The Palmer House was spacious and beautifully appointed with so many amenities at hand. The dark wood accents in the main building lent an air of luxury and elegance. Loved the cozy library and fireplace! Brian at the omelet station made the most delicious and light breakfast dishes. Manager Drew thought of every detail for our group meetings, breakfast and two amazing evenings, the first with Bethany Blues BBQ catering and grilling on the spot and the second at Dogfish Head Pub Brewery. Thanks to Drew and all the great staff.

We stayed at Bellmoore many times before, and keep going because of its location, comfort, ambiance, and wonderful staff members! All the rooms are tastefully decorated, but we especially love staying at the club level because most of the rooms are suites with bathrooms that have large jacuzzis, and are fully stocked. The suites have gas fireplaces and comfortable sitting areas with wet bars and fridges. Bottled water and snacks are provided for free. There are two beautiful libraries with fireplaces; one at the entrance level and the other at the club level. The breakfast is sumptious and there are always fresh coffee and baked cookies in the breakfast area during the afternoon tea time. Most of all it is quiet, and the beds are very comfortable providing a restful sleep. It has a lovely courtyard with beautiful flowers, trees and sitting areas. The staff provides you with daily information about where to eat, and the weather, and answer all other questions one may have with a smile on their face. And the spa with its competent staff is highly recommended. Cannot have enough of it! This year we celebrated our wedding anniversary there. Drew, JB, Meredith and the staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne, and a gift card! What a treat, thank you! And special thanks to Drew.

Due to various life events, we had not been back to the Bellmoor Inn in quite awhile. We were able to return there, this weekend, and we have to say that it is as incredible as we remember! What a jewel in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. The Bellmoor is one classy room after another. Their various libraries/reading rooms with fireplaces and bookshelves/games are so relaxing. Their suites are incredible with fireplaces, jaccuzzi tubs, balconies, and bedding that just hugs you. The entire place is classy, relaxing, and spotless. Their breakfast buffet is delicious in their garden sunrooms - bright and cheerful on a chilly November morning. We have stayed here in warm weather and cold and it never disappoints. They have 2 pools, one is adults only and alongside their garden courtyard. We had massages at the spa which were also incredible. The staff are exceptional and make it obvious that your comfort and stay are their top priority. Combine this incredible place with the wonderful town of Rehoboth Beach and you have a perfect vacation destination whether for a long weekend or a week. Tons of shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach in Rehoboth Beach-all in walking distance.

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with any room. There are Garden Rooms alongside their garden courtyard that open...

On a cold and windy weekend in November, two of us stayed at the Bellmoor in Rohoboth. Given that we couldn't enjoy the outdoors as much, having the Bellmoor as our home base was perfect. The excellent breakfast, the generous accommodations and (most of all) the lovely, generous and service-oriented staff provided all the warmth we needed for a lovely weekend. We'd definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

My best gal pals and I have been coming to the Bellmoor for getaways since 2008. We savor the free and fabulous breakfasts, the beautifully appointed rooms (this time, we graduated to a fourth floor suite, which was really quite a bargain, with the special fall discount; offers complimentary beverages and snacks, too) and matchless staff. The location is a plus, as one can walk to all the terrific eateries, the beach, the nearby pond. The front desk staff is never at a loss for places to eat, local attractions to visit, etc. I run out of positive adjectives! (Did I mention the amazing spa, which I think is the best I've ever been to? Oh, and the hot tub? And on and on...)

Unique, beautiful, comfy, serene, friendly, service-oriented, fragrant, delicious, a few words to describe Bellmoor. Made from scratch items for breakfast, daily afternoon cookies and tea (our fav!), soft bath robes for use during stay, large rooms and bathrooms, terrific spa with accommodating hours, and the BEST staff around. I very much appreciated the inn's manager making his rounds with guests in the breakfast room. I can't say enough about the friendly staff. My first visit here and it won't be my last!

Room Tip: We stayed second floor near the spa, hot tub and outdoor pool. No balcony, though. I would stay in...
