I would give the Bellmoor 5 stars for the rooms, breakfast and service, but the overall atmosphere was not altogether relaxing for our family. Not really a child-friendly place, with dim lighting and quiet mature environment. Spa is great, location great too.

Spent two nights at The Bellmoor Inn. This is definitely worth the visit. It is an upscale inn with a lot of class! The inside lobby and common rooms were beautiful; our room was large, quiet, and had a great bed. The included breakfast included hot and cold items. The location couldn't be more perfect....one block off of the main avenue in Rehobeth. Restaurants and the boardwalk/beach were just a few blocks away so we could walk to everything.

Once again, my husband's and my stay at the Bellmoor was most enjoyable and relaxing. Our room was very nice and the cushy bed is a dream to sleep in. The two common rooms off the lobby are so cozy. We very much enjoyed sitting in front of the fires built by the night staff in the "library." The front-desk staff are always personable, helpful, and engaging. In fact, everyone providing services at the Bellmoor--front desk, spa, cleaning, and breakfast service--do a great job. Oh, and those delicious cookies served every afternoon are a special treat!

Last spring was the first time we stayed at the Bellmoor and we are sold, it's now the only place we will stay. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, and the spa??? Wow. We will be back soon and I can't wait. Thanks to all.

Room Tip: Our room was quiet and well located.

This was our 18th stay at the Bellmoor Inn and Spa. It always begins by a warm greeting and a room that is clean and welcoming. On this visit in mid-March we asked if certain establishments were open. One of the staff members made two phone calls to find out. The buffet breakfast is always a treat with fresh fruit and a variety of breakfast items from scrambled eggs, french toast, bagels, yogurt, etc. We noticed a nice upgrade since our last visit that included a new flat screen television.

Staying at the Bellmoor is like being a guest in someone's country home. We are just back from our 5th sisters' getaway over the past 7 years and we are already planning for next year. The staff quietly attends to your every need. The bedrooms are lovely, the common areas are inviting, with plenty of nooks and crannies for private conversation, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch. If the Rehoboth Beach weather is less than ideal, it is no compromise to return to the hotel and settle in the library/game room in front of the fire with a good book, or head to the hot tub or spa. A stay at the Bellmoor is the ultimate in relaxation and worth the splurge.
