What a find! We are from Syracuse, NY, and have stayed at the Atlantis Inn two summers in a row and are returning for a third summer. I selected the motel from an Internet search--it had a great write-up and all turned out to be true. I booked directly with the manager who remembered me upon arrival. It's clean, a couple of blocks from the beach tucked away from the main road, parking is available, reasonable price, and friendly personnel. I recommended it to a co-worker who has also stayed there two years in a row. My husband and I feel like it's a home-away-from-home when we are there.

The location is dead center in the Rehoboth Avenue shopping/dining/bar area and a mere block and a half to the boardwalk and beach.
However, the main reason I chose this place was the cheerful attitude of Cheryl, who I spoke with on the phone while scouting hotels. I found a couple of lower rates elsewhere, but I knew from her friendly and helpful manner per our phone conversations that this was the place to choose. And, after her welcoming greeting upon check-in, I was sure of it.
She, and the rest of the staff, were attentive to any and all needs; including her putting a vase of flowers in our room to surprise my wife for our anniversary.
She advised us on great places to eat and/or relax, and she was right-on every time.
The room was nice, the TV was tiny but had lots of channels (in case it's raining out) and the bed was quite comfortable. The shower, however, was dangerous. Imagine slowly coming awake to a soothing flow of warm water, then suddenly engulfed in a waterfall of lava. It was something like that.
That's the only significant negative I have on the place. And I could deal with it.
The wireless internet wasn't working at my room's location, but the next day after asking about it, it was running top-notch. That was a first.
I liked the roof-top pool, which was a nice escape when the beach was too crowded.
Park the car and walk to anywhere you need to from here. My truck didn't move for four days. Besides, the parking cops here are the most zealous you'll ever find.
I don't have anything to compare the Atlantis Inn to in this area because it's my first trip here, but it's the first hotel I'll call on my next visit.

This hotel was well-located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. Check-in and out were easy and the staff was friendly. The hotel does offer parking and has a nice pool area. The room was clean and simple, nothing special. One issue with the room was that the deadbolt did not work; the elevator was also not working on the day we checked out. Overall, this is an average hotel. I'd recommend it for a short stay or to those that want to be in the center of the action.

Great convenient location, plenty of parking, pool and deck located on roof. Room had refrigerator, microwave, and free wireless internet. When checking in, we were provided a room that wasn't cleaned. The staff apologized and quickly rectified situation. Would recommend for short stay.
