My husband and I stayed at the Atlantis in March 2008. We were just looking for a one-night getaway and we booked there largely because most places seemed to have a 2-night minimum for a Saturday stay. We were for the most part very pleased with the hotel. The staff seemed friendly and it is very conveniently located in the heart of town, within walking distance to everything. Our room was extremely clean and the furniture seemed fairly new. It looks like they might have recently made some cosmetic changes in the hotel - new wallpaper and stuff like that, although you can sort of tell that those changes are only superficial. We did notice cracks in the wall and ceiling, but that didn't really bother us. The bathroom in our room was small and rather cramped, and the water in the shower would suddenly become extremely hot for no reason - maybe when folks in another room flushed their toilets? But our big complaint is that my husband and I agree that this was the firmest mattress we have ever slept on. I know that it's a matter of personal taste and some people love a firm mattress, but for us it took a lot away from our stay - I woke with an excruciating backache and my husband barely slept at all. We were glad to only be there for one night! Still, we found Atlantis to be a good overall value - our room was a "deluxe king" with a fridge and micro and was just $75. We would not stay again because we hated the beds, but maybe it wouldn't bother you. And if we had paid a summer price we might have found it to be a little overpriced, but I am not sure how it compares with other hotels in Rehoboth.
