The Hampton Inn chain is always a pleasure to stay at. Reliably warm free breakfasts, wifi throughout for free and consistent service. The rooms were typical for the chain and clean. The views of the parking lots nearby were less than fabulous, but after a long day out in the sun, the quiet and peaceful location was welcome. The hotel is situated right next to a lot of fine restaurants (kid and adult friendly). A great asian restaurant saketumi was a pleasure to go to, with an excellent wine list. The front desk were very accomodating when my daughter woke up in the middle of the night and gave us some extra milk for her bottle. Overall, a solid hampton inn, in a convenient location away from the excitement of the boardwalk, but only about a 4 to 6 minute drive away. There was a shuttle location nearby which is convenient, and the beach parking is relatively inexpensive when available. It was about 2 hours and 15 minutes from baltimore, which we call home. I would take the route from 95 via wilmington again to probably avoid the bay bridge. Would stay here again for a short trip, since it was convenient and affordable.
