“Perfectly wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

I stayed with a friend at the Hampton Inn Rehoboth Beach for three nights beginning September 13. We had courteous and friendly service, a wonderfully clean room, very modern and comfortable surroundings - it was everything I could ask for in a hotel stay. I am picky - and I had no complaints whatsoever!

“Nice, but some noisy late-night toddlers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

This Hampton was pretty much the same as the other Hamptons where we've stayed. The staff was quite courteous, the breakfast was extensive (it was also nice to have fresh fruit and coffee/tea available at all times!), and the room was comfortable and clean. The negatives were the presence of a weird odor in the bathroom (kind of like stinky glue--I'm hypothesizing that it was from either the wooden fixtures or wallpaper--we didn't complain about it, but it was pretty noticeable) and the fact that all children seemed to be placed on the same floor (ours). We have kids, too, but they're older, and we were awakened two nights in a row by a screaming toddler who was being brought back to the hotel around 11 p.m. or later (big surprise, I'm sure she was exhausted and after her lengthy crying spell, so were we!). The hotel is also a little pricey, considering it's your standard Hampton Inn, but I'm sure this has to do with proximity to the beach.

“Exactly what you expect at a Hampton Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

For a quick visit to the Rehoboth area, the Hampton Inn was a great choice. While it is not on the beach, it is easy to access for other activities. The room was spotless, the staff was typically friendly, and well informed. I would have rated it higher, but the breakfast area was understaffed. A single, frazzled employee tried to keep with the volume of diners.

Would stay there again, particularly if beachgoing is not the top priority.

“Reservations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We are getting married in Rehoboth Beach and had a lot of difficulties with hotels. The manager Marley worked with us to help get our problems resolved and gave us a great deal! The rooms were a very good price and they were very helpful. The hotel is also very beautiful inside!

“Nice place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012 via mobile

Just got back from our stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was nice and the staff did a nice job cleaning it for us. The breakfast was pretty good, but as someone trying to eat better and watch my weight, it was tough some days to find a good choice. Still, they always had cereal and skim milk and plenty of fresh fruit always available. It was much better than you usually get as a free breakfast at a hotel, so I can't really complain too much. They had cable tv, but a small array of channels available, making it hard to entertain my little ones in the morning while getting ready (no Disney or PBS). There was a small fitness room available, which was nice. It just had a weight bench with free weights, medicine balls, a treadmill, stationary bike, an elliptical machine, and an exercise ball. But it had its own towels and special towels for wiping down machines, as well as a TV and a water cooler. Not bad for keeping up with some exercise while away. It was a bit of a ways away from the beach. You could catch two buses, one of which would pick up in front of the hotel, or drive to the park and ride. Otherwise, you had to drive to the beach and pay parking meters. It was quite the ordeal to get to the beach and boardwalk, especially with two young children. The pool was small, but nice. They provided free wi-fi, but it was slow and unreliable. It is fine for browsing the Internet, but we were planning to watch Netflix on our iPad after the kids went to bed. It was impossible. Not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it in case other travelers had similar plans. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again.
