Great to have so many movie options so close to the beach. I'd suggest getting your tickets inside at the machine inside the lobby rather than waiting outside in a line in the cold. I appreciate the reduced prices for seniors.
A classic stage-type movie theater with plenty of movies always playing. The theater is a popular hangout for teens and middle-age teens in the Lewes area. The theater is clean and well maintained and seems to offer the latest in digital projectors which makes for a nice experience, 2-D or 3-D. The prices are normal and the available food is customary for theaters.
When you spend time at the beach, you don't usually associate it with going to the movies. But sometimes, you just want to sit in a dark room and have someone show you a story. There is nothing fancy here. The theaters are a little aged, but the rows are roomy and tiered nicely. The movies are first run and there are a large number of choices. Drinks are self-serve so you can refill if you want!
I love this movie theater and it's connection with the local film society. There is always a great selection of movies and they even have candy for $1.oo!!
We attended our first Rehoboth Beach Film Festival, and watched 5 movies in 2 days at this theater. The location is perfect, plenty of parking, reasonable prices for concessions, clean bathrooms. The theater seats were comfortable.
Word to the wise -- if you need extra leg room, head to the top of the theater because the last row has extra wide leg room which is appreciated when you need to stretch your legs.
