Ok, based on all the glowing reviews, we went to Henlopen. The food was 3 star, prices 5 star. $9 for 1 scallop. I wouldn't have minded if it was outstanding, but it was only good. The oysters Rockefeller were sub-par. Swimming in bacon fat. The entrees were good and almost worth the price. But, the place was loud. Miserably loud. I actually said to my partner "this is physically painful". It's all glass and cement, with a few acoustic tiles on one wall. We asked for our check before we were done eating so we could get out of there faster. There was no music playing, it was the cacophony of too many patrons crammed into a sterile space. I mean no malice here, but it was truly a terrible experience.
