“Lewes to Rehobeth bike ride”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

My husband and I wanted to ride our bikes from Lewes where we were staying to Rehobeth for dinner. We had a map that showed the trail but unfortunately, due to housing construction the start of the trail has been shifted and this was not reflected on any of the maps we had. The trial now starts in one of the new housing developments and the sign marking the start of trail is very small, doesn't even say the name of the trail just says pedestrians and bikes only. So, of course we missed this small sign and ended up riding our bikes in a circle around the development and ended up back where we started and finally saw the sign. This wouldn't have been too bad but it was really hot and humid. Once we got on the trail all was great - well marked with lots of directional signs, nice flat trail with lots of shade. Would be really nice in the fall with the changing follage.

“Enjoyed the run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Ran a portion of the trail for the first time the other day. Started at the Tanger Outlets parking lot and went north toward Lewes. It was a pleasure to run on dirt and cinders instead of concrete and macadam for a change. The trail is plenty wide and is covered by foliage, until one hits the corn fields.
Very quiet, scenic and serene. A very nice run!

“A nice walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

My husband and I went on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed the walk and views over the wetlands. It was a weekday morning prior to Meml Day so not very many people. Other times when busy the bikes can keep you jumping out of the way. Bikers are not always courteous to walkers. But still one of the nicest walks around Rehoboth Beach.

Great trail to bike or walk. It is a paved trail that winds trough farm fields woods and marsh. Dogs on leash are welcome. There are benches along the trail to rest if needed.

“Fun bike ride”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

This is a quiet and varied trail we enjoyed. It was mostly out of the wind, since it was a bit breezy at that time.
