I love Gus & Gus. The decor hasn't changed much since the '60's. It feels like the family ownership and management have been consistent, too. It's a boardwalk short-order place, serving breakfast through supper in season.
The food: You can have breakfast with a feta omelette, better beach fries than the OC famous place that begins with a "T" (with ketchup or vinegar), and the other items people have written about, like the fried chicken. The people who work there, including the owners, seem to have fun at their work. You can order at the walk-up boardwalk counter or sit inside. Now that George's and the Beach Luncheonette are gone, this is the only game in town.
