My mother, sister, a friend and myself stayed at Quality Inn and Suites the friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. My mother is disabled and we were assigned a large room that could accomodate her wheelchair. There was ample handicapped parking close to the entrance. The elevators were just steps away to go to our floor. Front desk was most helpful. Pool was very clean. When asked for additional towels, we were accomodated immediately. Continental breakfast could stand some improvement. Price was very reasonable. We were close to shopping. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Since my wife and I were taking my 16 year old grandson for a visit to Rehoboth, we wanted a two room suite with two closed off bedrooms to insure privacy. After a long search we found the perfect suite at the Quality Inn and Suites, for $200/night senior citizen rate.

The rooms were large, clean, both with 27" tv's,one with a king bed- the other a queen. A third area contained one bath with a shower/tub and a separate kitchenette. Dispite the hotel being fully booked, there was no noise to disturb our sleep.

The hotel is located on the Route 1 Rehoboth bypass near Dewey Beach and exactly ( I measured it) a manageable one half mile walk from the beach. We enjoyed good breakfasts at the nearby IHOP and Cracker Barrel as well as a huge $ 27 seafood buffet a the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach. There's a complementary continental breakfast and a good indoor swimming pool. Management of the hotel was helpful and even allowed us to check in 3 hours early. I can be very critical if a hotel is inferior, but this one was impressive .

The location wasn't what I expected. It is pretty far from the beach though it advertises "walking distance". The bathroom has no counter to place your toiletries and my view consisted of an ugly building with a huge tarp that was being repaired. Also, the AC was aweful. After staying one night, I inquired about checking out early, but was informed rather rudely that was against policy. Hoping to make the best of it, I told the assistant manager that the air conditioning was extremely loud and when it would cycle on and off it would thump so loudly that I woke up frightened several times during the night. He said he knew what the problem was and would fix it. I also brought him my bedspread which had an ugly stain that looked like blood on the inside. He informed me that the bedspread was not my blanket and was for decorative purposes. (I fail to see how an ugly blood stain is decorative). I told him I'd like it replaced and left for the day. When I returned, the air conditioner was the same, my bedspread had not been replaced and I hadn't had maid service. When I called to complain the same assistant manager told me that I had my "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. Not true. He refused to have my room cleaned. I contacted Choice hotel about their supposedly "100 percent satisfaction guarantee" and recieved a letter from Choice saying the hotel would contact me directly. Same day I recieved a letter from the manager basically making excuses. Having been in the hospitality business the service I recieved is absolutley abysmal and the facility leaves alot to be desired also.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and it is really nice. Everything is clean, staff are friendly, good continental breakfast. Nice to have the indoor pool for the evening with the kids.
