Nothing to complain about with the Quality Inn Rehoboth Beach. Our spacious suite came equipped with a king size bed, pull-out sofa, fridge, and all the amenities. The hotel has obviously been remodeled recently - new carpet, new bedding, and possibly even new tile in the bathroom. There were two TVs in the room.
From the hallway outside our room I could hear people in the adjoining room, but once inside I couldn't tell they were there. Nice and quiet.
The breakfast was adequate - nothing "hot" except the waffles and coffee. They had a selection of yogurt, pastries, and juices. The room is nice, well decorated, and with a large TV so you can catch the morning news.
We got a late start planning our vacation, but found a room at the Quality Inn and Suites. We'd heard mixed reviews, so weren't sure what we were getting into. It turned out to be a great place to stay.
It seems the whole hotel has been redone. Everything seemed new, and the photos of the pink building here on the site are outdated. The yellow building is how it looks now. They had a new brochure available when we left.
The hotel staff was fantastic. They were friendly, extremely helpful, and great in a bad situation -- the electricity in all of Rehoboth and Dewey went out for several hours the third night of our stay. The staff did everything they could to make things easier for us. We were very impressed.
The only thing we wished we had was a microwave, and on the way out the manager told us they are going to put microwaves in all the rooms. (He brought it up, we didn't mention it.) The refrigerator was a good size and had a freezer in it.
We didn't think we'd be able to walk to the beach, but it was just a five minute walk, which was great. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we are definitely planning to stay there again, even with all the other options in Rehoboth and Dewey. We highly recommend it.
We had a discounted rate, and it was ok for what we paid, but others paying $250 and up must have been crazy!!! The room was ok, holes in the wall in the bathroom, but new furnishings and carpet. The breakfast was nothing great but it was a typical continental breakfrast. The front desk staff was rude and not very helpful. THey tried to overcharge us for our room and we had to call the 800 number to get our rate fixed. The location is about 4 1/2 blocks to the beach and it is walkable and the Rehoboth Boardwalk is about a 20 minute brisk walk away or you can catch the jolly trolley 3 1/2 blocks away. Overall, we had a fine stay but there were other hotels much closer to the beach and boardwalk for just a little bit more money which I would choose next time.
My mother, sister, a friend and myself stayed at Quality Inn and Suites the friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. My mother is disabled and we were assigned a large room that could accomodate her wheelchair. There was ample handicapped parking close to the entrance. The elevators were just steps away to go to our floor. Front desk was most helpful. Pool was very clean. When asked for additional towels, we were accomodated immediately. Continental breakfast could stand some improvement. Price was very reasonable. We were close to shopping. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.
