Last August(2003), while on vacation in Rehobeth Beach, my girlfriends, my Mother and myself experienced Afternoon Tea. The atmosphere, server and the food is delicious. Our server was Anthony, he explained everything to us about what he was doing with the tea and water. How long to let it steep before drinking. He told us what each layer on the 3 tier tray consisted of.
While on vacation, May 18, 2004, again in Rehobeth Beach with 2 of my girlfriends and 1 girlfriend's husband, we had Afternoon Tea at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel. Our server was Tim. Those 2 gentlemen do an excellent job of explaining how they steep the tea, each teas flavor, and explain each layer of the 3 tier tray.
I've had 2 different trays of finger sandwiches, pastries and sweets at each visit. Each one is just as delicious!
My friends and I can't complain about anything.
It's a wonderful experience. Everyone should experience Afternoon Tea at least once. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, than when eating at restaurant.
