“Just like old times”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We spent the weekend at Sea N Stars and it was wonderful. It had been several years since we'd been there and it was if nothing had changed (except for the housedog) As before the room was very nice, the house cool and Wendy was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. even better than we remembered. This has to be the best bed & breakfast in Rehoboth Beach.

Room Tip: Call early as the place fills us fast.

Visited for the 2nd year in a row and this place is wonderful! With a sort of 1950s vibe, the bed and breakfast offers double rooms with baths or larger accommodations. But, it feels more like a cottage at the beach shared with friends. The owners live onsite and cook breakfast each morning and you sit around a large table with all the guests in family style! There is nothing fancy about this place, simple bedrooms and showers in the bathrooms. There is a large outdoor shower too which we used every day. The owners don't mind if you bring wine, etc. to stock your mini-fridge and you can share it on the great front porch and watch the neighbors walking down to the beach (2 blocks away). The owners will offer tips on restaurants and shops in the area and you can pet Charlie (the really, really, really cute dog that greets you each day as you enter the house).

Room Tip: If you like a bit more privacy, you can book upstairs rooms that are larger.

Was a fun long weekend with 4 friends.... stayed in the main house queen bed rooms with baths. The house owners make certain that you feel that this is your house and are available if needed. Great coffee and fully cooked breakfast in the mornings... take it out to the relaxing front porch and watch the lazy neighborhood come to life. An easy 2 block stroll to beach or dinner and shopping. Loved the July 4th BBQ and socializing with other guests. Off street parking, quiet cozy rooms and perfect hosts!

We planned a last minute weekend trip to Rehoboth Beach and found that all the hotels and motels were fully-booked! Sea N Stars usually does weekly rentals, but we got lucky and they were able to accommodate our group for a one night stay.

From the moment we showed up at Sea N Stars, we felt like we were staying at a friend's house instead of a guesthouse. Wendy was so friendly and welcoming! The accommodation upstairs was perfect, a 2-bedroom apartment with bathroom, kitchen and living room. It was very reasonably priced.

In the morning, Wendy cooked a delicious breakfast and we were perfectly situated to enjoy exploring the area (and lying on the beach). Thanks, Wendy!

we click our heels 3 times, chant "there is no place like home" every August and, like magic, we are back at 44 Delaware meeting dear old friends, and making new memories!
Nowhere else we would ever even consider staying!
Next August cannot come fast enough!
I cant wait to earn my "15 Year Pin"!!!

Great family reunion weekend at Sea-n-Stars. Two apartments upstairs, two en suite bedrooms downstairs was plenty of space for our clan. Steps to cute shops, funland, great restaurants. Shower off the sand outside then hang out on the porch with friendly owner, Wendy Bunce. Bike out to Gordon's Pond and Henlopen State Park, or the street is so quiet, you can toss a baseball in the street. Stock your own fridge with your drinks or beach food and you'll save yourself some money and perhaps resist the temptation of Thrasher's fries and ice cream on the beach. Sea-N-Stars would be fun for romance or for families, depending on whether you have well behaved quiet kids: crying babies are several years from being ready for this darling getaway. Good air conditioning and fans for superhot nights. 44 Delaware Avenue.
