The newness of the hotel gives it an edge over the competition. The staff is well trained and friendly, especially the breakfast staff. On the negative side, the walls are paper thin like most new construction. The water saver devices on the shower are ridiculous. If you have long hair and expect to be able to wash and rinse it thoroughly, forget it. Lastly, the hotel does not have FOX News; a big disappointment. I was looking forward to watching the news evenings, but instead, the cable selections were somewhat spotty.

The Desk Clerks and employees were extremely courteous and helpful. The morning breakfast was outstanding and I wondered how Marriott could make a profit offering top quality and individual cakes, assorted donuts, orange and cranberry juice, milk, etc. We decided to stay an extra night and the transition was very smooth and only took about 30 seconds to effect. The hotel was immaculate along with our room; quiet and peacefulness prevailed......even though the hotel was nearly full, it was as though we were the only ones there. We've decided, in the future, to stay in a Fairfield Inn.

Very nice hotel. It appears to be brand new. the staff was excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful.

Just spent one night there and after driving by some of the other local hotels, I am sure I made the right selection. While the Fairfield Inn cost a little more than other nearby hotels, it is relatively new (built in 2002), very clean, has a pool, hottub and small exercise room. The hotel offers Wi-Fi in each room and has a business center available in case you didn't bring your laptop. The breakfast is typical of mid-range hotels: cereal, fruit, waffle maker (they even have sugar free syrup) and muffins. I will not hesitate to stay at the Fairfield Inn during my next business trip to Dover.
