I spent a weekend at the Marina Suites with a friend after reading positive reviews of the hotel. I had never been to Dewey Beach and was concerned what the hotel would be like. When we arrived, there was some confusion about which room I had reserved, but the desk clerk was very helpful in resolving the issue. The room was a huge two room suite. The living room with pull-out sofa was a little dark as it had no window, but the bedroom with window and slidng glass door and balcony provided lots of sunlight. The bathroom was modern and very clean (I am very picky about the cleanliness of bathrooms) and there was a area with a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and sink (all very clean and new) between the bedroom and living room. Both rooms had televisions. A complaint about some very loud neighbors at 2 AM was immediately taken care of and the desk clerk made a point to confirm my satisfaction in the morning. The coffee service in the lobby in the morning was a nice plus and the roof top pool was great. Lots of clean towels and lounges available and the pool was kept imaculate. The covered parking kept the car cool and, with the beach just a block away, we did not need to move it. We also took the Jolly Trolley (the stop was 1/2 a block away) at night so that we could enjoy ourselves with no parking or driving problems. On Sunday, we were offered a late check out time so that we could spend the morning at the pool and still be able to shower and change. It was a very relaxing weekend at this hotel!
