During our vacation in Rehoboth, we encountered a couple of days where the weather wasn't perfect for sitting on the beach, but the kids were still itching to do things outside. We came across the ad for Dewey Beach Parasail in some reading material in our hotel room and decided to give them a call, and are SO glad that we did.
The lady we spoke with on the phone wasn't able to give us a reservation initially because they were completely booked for the day (we later learned that its recommended to call a few days in advance or first thing in the morning in order to guarantee a spot)...In any case, the girl working asked us for our phone number and said that she would call us if there were any cancellations. Initially skeptical, we were THRILLED when they called us back and were able to fit us in. We were nervous when we got there, having never parasailed before, but we were immediately comforted by the knowledgeable staff (both in the booth and on the boat). We opted for the 800' "High Ride" and the photo package. We were again pleasantly surprised when all three of our kids could go together, harnessed side by side, while my husband and I went together. We got around 30 awesome photos of all of us.
The kids are already counting down the days until we go again this year (we have our reservations in advance this time!!). If you're in the Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey/Bethany (or even Ocean City) areas on vacation, I would HIGHLY recommend Dewey Beach Parasail. Their customer service was excellent, as was the overall experience.
