We came to Hartford for a Bruce Springsteen show downtown. I'm so glad I found a gem. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully restored Inn hosted by John and Shireen Aforismo. This was a refuge just outside of Hartford. We felt as if we were transported back in time to serene and charming perfection. Two other rooms were occupied by guests, but we had a chance to see all the rooms-including the magnificent ballroom-perfect for a large party event with a Royal atmosphere. Breakfast was warm and wonderful and we had the chance to meet husband/host John who also has a company in Hartford but helps with the Inn. It was Halloween week, so even the outside of the Inn was decorated with witches and goblins. We had one of their smallest available rooms, but it was large and cozy. Our bed was extremely comforable, and the shower/bath clean and nice. Thank you for making our stay in Hartford great!
