The drive up to the inn starts off your experience. The inn is stately and grand and the landscaping is impeccable. It is warm and inviting. The inns furnishings are true to the period and in excellent condition. The decorations are beautiful and the bedding was heavenly. We stayed in the cupids and roses room and the ceiling in this room is painted with beautiful clouds, cupids and roses. The artist did an amazing job and you truly feel as though you're in heaven. The inn keepers are pleasant, professional and accommodating. Although the inn does not offer dinner, breakfast was exquisite. Fresh fruit, a choice of eggs or French toast, etc. We have stayed during the Christmas holiday season and the halls and rooms were decorated beautifully. I can't say enough positive things about the inn. We have stayed several times throughout the years and will continue in the years to come...a very special place.
