Although we had trouble getting return calls forour reservation. They did call us back after the third try, were very courteous and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a table. When my wife asked if we could get one further from the door, they unhesitatingly moved us. Waitstaff was friendly and offered suggestions. Service was prompt and attentive. The Trout Dip was very good, although a bit more bread to spread the dip on would have appreciated. The Floundeer was very good. My wife had the duck breast, although having bit of troubling cutting the generous pieces, found it to be very tasty and enjoyable. A surpise was the tart with bacon marmalade.l When combined with the delicious tart and vanilla ice cream, we shared an excellent dessert. Felt the place was a bit pricey, especially inthe glass by wine category, but thoroughly enjoyable, would go back, and would recommend to friends.
