“Crowded, food ok.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

We had a salad, pizza and cheesecake. The salad was ok, the pizza was burned on the bottom and the cheesecake was disappointing. The staff was attentive, but the food was not good.

“Better Places in Town”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

There are so many better places to go in town. Terry Lodge is over rated. If you have anything other than the pizza you will be disappointed. Our experience last night was just terrible. The service was slow and the food (other than the pizza) nearly unedible. I wonder when the last time one celebrity chef owners were actually in to check on their investment. I think they'd be disappointed.

“Excellent gluten-free pasta? Yes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

I recently visited the Westport location with 6 other family members on a Wednesday night. The joint was hopping, but we were seated promptly and the servers brought over water and bread right away. We started with salads--I had the gorgonzola with Bibb lettuce, frisee & walnuts--and then I moved on to the cavatelli with spicy sausage and tomatoes al forno. What a nice treat to have excellent, quinoa-based pasta outside the house! The flourless chocolate cake with pistachio gelato was also outstanding. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

“Overrated and ordinary”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

We went to tarry lodge with great expectations and were disappointed from the moment we arrived. We were kept waiting over 20 minutes for our reserved table. Wait staff was distracted and disorganized. While the food looked very interesting on the menu actual execution was bland and ordinary. Not going back anytime soon.

“Good food but poor presentation!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

This is my second time going to Tarrylodge. Enjoyed the food, but presentation could have been so much better. How could you serve great food on small plates and pasta in a cereal type bowl?
Could not even stir my pasta for fear that it would fall off of plate. Perhaps they do it to make it appear to have more food on plate. Also, what a schmo Lidia's son is! No personality.....makes no effort to talk to diners. Walked by our table several times but did not acknowledge anyone!
Thank you very much.......but I am not having anymore pasta in a salad bowl!
