Had dinner with my wife on a fairly busy Friday night. First the positives - Adam, our server, provided excellent service and was consistently attentive and knowledgable. The steaks were just great! Simply, fine cuts of beef cooked perfectly according to our requests. Grilled asparagus was good. Excellent bread served with your meal. My cheescake was light, smooth, and yummy. Finished my meal with a smooth 2-fingers of scotch and a decaf. Atmosphere is sophisticated and discerning.
Now the negatives - My wife and I shared a Caesar salad....just bad. No anchovy tang (creamy Italian dressing?), and some of the limp Romaine was brown at the edges!! Disappointing! My wife finished her meal with a Creme Brulee and she thought it was heavy. I took a bite and it did lack the lightness required for an excellent brulee.
Overall, very good. As others have mentioned it is pricey and you should expect only the best. Anything less is disappointing.
