So I bought tickets from Groupon to go to the watermark. After that is when I read the reviews. I was scared to take the drive from New York to Waterbury but boy was I proven wrong! The place was awesome. In the middle of nowhere but with enough activities to keep the kids (5months, 11, 9, and 4yrs old) occupied.
Not so many rides but the rides that were there kept the kids happy for about 4-5 hrs. They also have an arcade which they enjoyed.
Advice: arrive early at least 11am. After about 1pm the temperature in the place starts to go from 84 degrees to about 65-70. Being your own food even though the Pizza Hut is inexpensive and does not have the outrageous prices you usually see at attractions. They also have a restaurant.
I loved that bathing suits are not a must shirt and shorts will suffice.
Will be staying for the weekend next time!
