Location (proximity to Mohegan Sun), staff, room size and cleanliness, value, shuttle service to casino, amenities...all great but, the complementary breakfast buffet, while expansive, was a chaotic mess! Too many people, no structure for visiting the food stations, slow to nonexistent replenishment and only one staff member who struggled to keep up with three dining areas plus an outdoor patio. The buffet was open until 10 AM. By 9:40, there were no more potatoes and a guest was told that more would not be coming out. Other replenishments were questionable. I will say that there was a tour bus of people partaking before leaving but, additional staff and food should have been anticipated to address the large number of guests dining at the same time. If management would address this area, they would have a gem of a place.

Thank you for you review of our hotel and services and your candid remarks about our complimentary breakfast service. We do have a challenge to overcome in regards to the breakfast service. The limited space and number of guests that we hope to provide breakfast for does create a problem during our busiest days. Please know that we are aware and we are constantly looking for opportunity to improve this service. If we failed to meet to your expectations please except my apologizes for that instance. We truly hope that you will continue to consider our hotel when you are visiting the area and I know that we will have improved our breakfast service before your next trip.
