“Beautiful gardens”

If your into roses, this is the place for you! Great place to walk around & collect your thoughts. If you like action however you won't find any here. More for the laid back crowd.

“Visit on Sundays from 1-4 summer 2012”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

A homestead and a collection of out buildings given to the town of stratford by the Boothe brothers. Visit when the buidings are open to hear the staff recount the story of each room and the family itself. Visit when the buildings are closed to enjoy the large acreage of open rolling land and play ground for the kids.

“Fun & haunted!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2012

This is a great place to take the kids for an afternoon picnic. Large grounds with a playground and rolling hills. Perfect for wedding pictures in their rose garden, if the roses aren't in bloom something else is. There is even a cute little chapel and the old Merritt parkway toll booths. About being haunted...they have a museum that is on the national registered list of haunted places.
