I arrived in the evening and received a warm greeting from the front desk. I signed up for the Starwood Preferred Guest program prior to checking in. They have rooms reserved just for Starwood Preferred guests (there's a door plate stating so outside of the room). I had a robe in the closet and a complimentary bottle of water. The view was looking at at the front of the hotel. Those are the only upgrades that I think were part of the program. Otherwise the rooms were pretty nice. I enjoyed the long desk, I could really spread out my work. They have a thermosat for ac and heat, which I like. The toiletries were OK (Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Vasoline body lotion), I actually prefer Marriott's Bath & Bodyworks products better. They also included Caswell Massey bath gel, but I didn't get a chance to use it. The one very minor thing I didn't like about the room is that the TV did not show the numbers as I was surfing, so I couldn't just punch in the number to get back to my original shows. Again, very minor.
I ate both in the dining room and room service. I received more upbeat service during room service. During dinner, the servers were very quiet and could have been more attentive. Breakfast in the dining room was good, I just had the continental, which was around $14-15.00. The full buffet was around $18-$19.
I liked that they had a table in the lobby of approximately 6 internet ready computers that were complimentary. They offered a shuttle to nearby areas and it was very busy in the morning with guests needing to go to different corporate locations. The good thing though is they had several shuttles running, so you didn't have to wait for long.
The hotel is on a main road and is walking distance to a shopping center with an Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, Michaels and other shops and small restaurants.
Overall, it was nice stay and if in the area, I wouldn't mind staying here again.
