“Sports, history, great food and drinks, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We recently ate at Bobby Valentine's restaurant. I had the fajita dish which was fantastic. The beer selection was diverse. The service was a but slow only because It was very crowded. The noise level was also a bit loud but that is what adds to the excitement of this establishment. I would highly recommend a visit here.

“Great place to watch a game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Good selection of drafts and some great beer specials. Appetizers are fine. Staff very willingly to put your game of choice on one of the myriad of TVs.

“excellent food and atmosphere for entire family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Was in Stamford this week and went to Bobby V,s for lunch with my family.. The service was great and the food excellent for this type of restaurant as no one complained about anything at all. In addition Bobby V was there and spent time talking to our family and is about as nice a person and retaurant owner you could ask for. He made our day as well as the food.

“Best Sports Bar Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

I've been a fan of Bobby's since his Texas Ranger days. He hasn't done much for Boston lately, but when I moved to Stamford I found a new home at his famous local sports bar. It has more TV's than ESPN's control room, covering every possible sport on every possible cable channel. If you want to see Latvia stomp Bolivia in table tennis, if you can find it on cable, he'll set you up with a screen.

The food is just okay, but the menu is comprehensive (with funny sports team names) and the service is really good.

The last month of the NFL season can get pretty nasty out at the Meadowlands, so even though my buddy has Giants season tickets, more that once we've decided to watch the game at Bobby's rather than fight the snow to get to Jersey. I can remember standing at the bar trying to give away decent Giants tickets and getting no takers willing to leave the warmth and comfort of Bobby's.

There are a lot of places that put up a few screens, dress the waiters in ref outfits and call themselves a sports bar, but this is the real deal. Check it out!

“Don't Go for the Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

For a crowded sports bar, fine though the nachos are gooey and the rest of the menu not much better.
Resting on their laurels.
Maybe when its owner namesake returns from the Red Sox he will update it.
