“What an amazing place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I currently traveled to CT on business and stayed at Hotel Zero in Stamford. After contacting the front desk, and asked for some recommendations for a great dinner. I was referred to Patrizia's Restaurant. I was told it was Italian cuisine. I went there with some of my colleagues, and we ended up having an unbelievable meal. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made the right choice. The service was great, and the food was unbelievable. My colleagues who are from the area, made reservations for the following weekend with their families. Thank you Patrizia's for a great night.

“Great Restaurant, wonderful food and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

I have eaten at Patrizia's several times with different groups of people. I have ordered family style and regular dinners. Both give good portions of food and the food is wonderful!

Family style is a great deal with many courses and all the beer & wine you can drink! Each course appears small at first but don't be deceived! They portion each course with just enough food so that you will not get overstuffed before you get to the end. The courses vary each time you go...sometimes there is lobster...sometimes prime rib...but every time - delicious and plentiful!
They provide enough of a variety that even if you don't like a certain dish, there is enough food to eat. Unique, good desserts too!

The wait staff is friendly and attentive & typically one of the owners will come by to see if you are satisfied with your meal.

I highly recommend Patrizia's!

“Very pleasant surprise.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

After reading several reviews critical of the service, we expected to be annoyed. But we had a gift credit for the restaurant so we decide to go there. Both food and service were excellent. One waiter noticed that the table wobbled and immediately fixed it. When we indicated that we would be sharing two entres, our server pushed over another small table to hold the large entres and brought small plates without being asked. One entre, ravioli stuffed with broccoli rabe and spicy sausage, was memorable and the other entre, seafood mixed grill, was excellent, mostly, but the salmon was not up to the level of the snapper or shrimp or octopus.

“Patrizia's food/service gone bad”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

We used to love going to Patrisia's in the Bronx, and we were thrilled when Giacomo decided to open one up in Stamford. However, we are so very disappointed in the food (lack of during family style when you are NOT there with the right company). If the owner knows you, then you get the special treatment. We brought 6 friends there last night and did the family-style option. We are so embarrassed that we spoke so highly of the food/service to our friends, and then had nothing to base it on. It was terrible! When Giacomo is there, we get better food and service. I know many, many people that have stopped going there all together. It is sad, but I am getting the feeling that honesty and sincerity are not their strong points.

“A good downtown spot for health conscious gourmands”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

It is an Italian restaurants, but not an average Olive Garden place. The atmosphere, the vibe has a certain down town edge, that relates to younger and older posse. The food is a highlight of restaurant. it is prepared fresh, and very flavorful. They do not offer protein/carb/veggie entrees, you have to order carbs additionally(+6$ for serving of penne). Even if don't order it, the plate is enough to satiate one person.I really liked their Riesling wine, do recommend trying it with the fish.
One distinction from neighboring restaurants, that it does not feel crummy, with enough privacy and space fro everyone. The service was good and prompt.
