What a wonderful surprise - perfectly prepared, delicious tacos and sides without the hassle of restaurant service or attitude. Kudos to the owners who take pride in their food and consistently deliver quality, flavor and freshness with love....

I have been visiting El Charrito for nearly two years. Their location on Apache Place in Riverside (Greenwich) is by far the better choice but you can't go wrong with Tacos or Huraches from the truck. Carlos who's never without his hairnet on is a Stamford local who travels to Mexico and brings back even more authentic and amazing recipes each trip. The park where the truck is now is undergoing renovation but that shouldn't stop you from stopping by. Authentic Mexican with quality ingredients at a fair price. You will be amazed at how great it can be. Check it out...

A big yellow truck. I've eaten there many times. Consistently, a high quality treat. They also have a storefront in Riverside, CT. The truck is parked next to a park, so if it's a nice day, sit at a picnic table and enjoy. The owner is obviously concerned about quality. I could go on - but just try it. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

It's not a perfect dining experience, but the quality of the food completely outweighs any potential drawbacks...the chef, Carlos, knows his stuff! It's all AUTHENTIC, unlike the Americanized stuff you get elsewhere, and for rock-bottom prices too.

Alex and the other ladies who take orders are all very sweet, and efficient; been going at least weekly for over a year and they haven't mixed an order up yet, even at peak times.
