First off I want to say that within the area Cava is located there are some nice restaurants that are gems with good food, atmosphere, etc. But what makes here stand out is that everything about it is beyond great, it truly is a diamond in the rough. Upon pulling in you can't help but notice it's one of a kind style, a type of look you either have never saw before or have seen overseas. It's simply beautiful & unique. The first thing that hits you when entering is the lower light setting, the softly played music.. you just feel like you're in a very intimate, romantic establishment absolutely perfect for a passionate night out with your spouse or a weekly family dinner. Cava being an Italian/Greek restaurant really goes above & beyond the goal of making you feel comfortable & gives you the feeling that you are dining in a one of a kind place where you without a doubt get your money's worth. The table's & booth's are all very nice & comfortable, all with a candle lit on top. Looking around the room you really get an idea as to how much thought & consideration went into the look & feel of the restaurant, it's simply beautiful.
As for the food.. wow. That's all one needs to say, if I were to leave you with only that one word & you took a trip to Cava I believe you would understand upon first bite what I mean. All of the dishes are presented stunningly, the food is proportioned as it should be, & the flavor's in every dish I've had were on par with restaurants I have dined at across the country. My favorite is their steak, I've never tasted such perfectly cooked & seasoned steak before.
About the price, Cava is not an incredibly expensive place as some like to think, but it is of course no low-end cheap one either. The thing about Cava is you get what you pay for, which is amazing food, an atmosphere like no other, & extremely nice staff & management who's goal is for you to experience a night out of dining like no other. If you want to stop into a place to fill your stomach in a hurry, with staff that do not care about you, where the cooks put no heart into their food, with a goal to get you in & out in a hurry.. then Cava is not for you. Walk in ready to relax & be treated as a respected guest, prepared to be waited on by some of the most friendly waitstaff around, & taste delicious food. I've been here a couple times, once with my girl friend & once with family, I never heard a negative comment from anyone in my party. Also I do want to say this.. I am no six figure a year, extremely high class man. I consider myself to be a more blue collar kind of guy who likes to travel when time & money permits & who just enjoys a great time out at a place that cares about my comfort & experience. Also, I never had it but Cava does have take out as well.
Take my word as well as the others on this site & give Cava a try, do not let the negative reviews prevent you from going. It seems to me that the not so good review's are from those who believe they are professional critics who critique every single thing down to the bone without looking at the big picture & unfortunately do not see this place for what it really is.
By the way I heard that Cava will be building a rooftop bar & dining area within the next year, just when I begin to think how can this place possibly be any more appealing, I then discover that.
