Arrived early evening on a Saturday night and surprised at the small crowd. However, it changed as soon as the UCONN girl's game finished. Six choices of draft beer including a local favorite, Ten Penney. A few minutes after seating, we are presented with a warm, fresh bread with a dipping oil. Calamari was ordered before we could decide on our entrees. It arrived as we were ready to order and was a very generous helping and almost too much for an appetizer. Salad was with mixed greens and not the iceberg salads that some restaurants give. One entree was Veal Sorrentino and the other was Chicken Francaise. Both were served with penne pasta. Only minus was that the sause was ordinary. Dessert was going to be carrot cake, but they were out so a cannoli to share was our second choice. Waitress surprised us with two cannolis as they did not have the carrot cake. Service was excellent and the value was good. Better than average meal.
