“A hidden Jewel within Nomad's Adventure Quest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

While Visiting Nomad’s Adventure Quest we opted to eat at the locations sit down restaurant instead of the snack stand. We made a perfect choice. Despite the FEC having a Mayan theme the restaurant has a feel more of a British tavern. Luckily the off theme was the only downside I have for this restaurant.

It took a couple minutes to be seated but once at a table we were well attended to our entire time there. I was surprised to be handed a real menu with selection for appetizers to wide selection of meals. There was 3 of us at the table and 1 ordered a beer a local microbrew while the rest of us got soda. We ordered A cheese nacho as a starter and we all got a dinner. I got a BBQ Chicken Sandwich for $8.50 very reasonably and very good. Fries were crispy and my friend’s meal came with homemade Potato chips. In all for our entire bill of 3 meals, an appetizer one beer and 3 sodas (included refills) came to just over $43 dollars.

Over all, the atmosphere was very good and pleasant. There was a band setting up as we finished our meals to play on the small stage. Staff was very friendly attentive and seemed to enjoy their jobs. In all I would not hesitate to eat at Reds Tavern again.

“Could have been a VERY lame team building exercise, but ended up being tons of fun”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2011

We went here on a team building exercise in November of 2011 on a Monday night and got some sort of package for 4 hours of games and activities at the adjoining Nomad's Adventure Quest. Needless to say, we were pretty much the only group of people there.

The place was very much a dark arcade... not much in the way of decoration or care, but things functioned, and when they didn't, the staff were pretty agreeable. Aside from the bartender, none of the staff seemed to be very happy about being there.

Our team was pretty chill, and we ended up enjoying laser tag, mini bowling, bumper cars, etc. All stuff we hadnt done since childhood.

Drinks were good, but I will say that the service for getting food was incredibly slow. We were pretty much the only people there, and yet somehow it still took over 30 minutes to get some salads delivered to our table. I was told they only had one cook on that night, which is understandable given that it was a Monday, but that long for a couple of easy to make entrees is pretty unbelievable. Nothing oustanding about the quality of the food, either.

Other than that, we had a nice evening.
