“Would definitely return”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012 via mobile

I was on business in the area for 15 days from the UK and stayed very close to the restaurant but only got the chance to visit as a lone diner twice towards the end of my stay.

I came two nights in a row actually as I'd enjoyed the first visit so much.

Very friendly waiting staff, helpful and attentive. Great food too - once of the best pad Thai I've had.

“Noisy and Bad Parking”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Interesting building stuck in a had to access location, Baang had been here forever.
High ceilings make it intalerably noisy.
Interenting menu and decent food.
Love ehri wok fried spinach.

“They do a Baang up job”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We go to Baang quite often, maybe once a month. The food creative Asian fusion and everything on the menu is unique and extremely well prepared. Some of our favorites are flash fried spinach, lobster crepes, Chinese chicken salad, fried bananas covered in chocolate.....its all good. The music used to be too South Beach and too loud, but they have turned it down and now you can easily converse over dinner. The wines are overpriced (2.75x retail) but is is a good list. Our waiter, Michael, was superb, knowing the menu and totally professional.

“great food, delicious desserts and cocktails, loud atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

This is a beautiful restaurant that started out as a drive-in burger place. But you'd never know it because the decor is beautiful, stylish and modern. The only problem is that with so many hard surfaces (concrete floors, no carpeting or sound absorbent materials) it gets a little loud with the music that is always on (although the music is good too). You have to be in the mood for a festive boisterous crowd to come here, but as I said in the title of the review, the food is great,(I love the Asian barbequed salmon and the crispy spinach) they have interesting cocktails, and delicious desserts, (chocolate pagoda and banana wantons--yum)so what's not to like. I love the landscaping that they've done as well. This place is much better than Asiana in downtown Greenwich. Go Baang!

“I go here for the salads and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

Love this place for the variety on the menu and friendly prompt service.

Sometimes I drive right by this place and have to u-turn to come back. But it's worth the extra time in the car.

Menu offers delicious Asian-fused foods as well items such as Onion Soup and Calamari Salad.
What a great idea!
The menu might reflect the owners taste in food, and it works well.

Don't ask for the banquette by the kitchen unless you want to ask you dinner partner to repeat what they are saying every time. Too loud! However it is the perfect spot if you are going with a boring person and want something to look at while dining and an excuse not to listen to them.
