“Horrible service and food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

Don't waste your time or money. Ordered shrimp tempura and it was clearly a frozen heat and eat product, a breading and no shrimp. And they never serve everyone's dish together, you will always either watch someone else eat or be watched. The wait staff is beyond clueless. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

“Good, tasty food and nice atmosphere”

I usually take out from here on my way home from work. Food travels well and is so tasty and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Restaurant has pretty ambiance and good service.

“Excellent fresh surprises”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

We had a Groupon and asked the waiter George for suggestions on ordering for our first visit. The shrimp tempura roll offered a wonderful combo of textures and flavors, the delicious dumpling portion was ample for sharing, and the mango shrimp was beautifully presented with jicama, mango slices, and fresh pepper slices in a mild but tasty sauce. Overall, we were impressed with the service and value, planning to return.

“SIMPLY THE BEST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Wild Ginger is back and as wonderful as it was the first time around! I have never been happier to have a restaurant back! This is the only Asian restaurant in the Fairfield County area that I feel is worth going to. The staff is always very pleasant, the new decor is chic and beautiful, but most importantly, the FOOD is always FRESH and DELICIOUS! I have never had a bad meal at Wild Ginger. If you haven't tried it, go out of your way if you have to, to do so, it is more than worth it!

“Worth a try”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

Wild Ginger is open again. Never having been to its previous incarnation, we thought we'd give it a try. The restaurant is nice looking in a gray and black contempo sort of way. The waitstaff was pleasant and efficient. The food was good. We are big Sichuan fans, and what attracted us to this place was the fact that a couple dishes on the menu are described as being "Szechuan" or with "Szechuan Peppercorn Sauce". While the dishes we ordered were tasty, there was no evidence of anything Sichuan about them; no peppercorns, no peppercorn oil, no ground chiles. Having said that, the meal was, if not stellar, very good.
