“Always great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

This is my go to place for casual lunch or dinner. The food is consistently good. Great service. Can get crowded but service doesn't suffer for it. The little pub deserves the crowd it attracts. Love the old world feel. Valets always helpful and friendly- esp. since I always lose my valet ticket:)

“Excellent lunch and great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

We met here for lunch with friends who we hadn't seen for a few years. There were 17 people and the restaurant were very accomodating. We had a table in the "conservatory" part of the restaurant which was beautiful on a crisp, sunny winters day.
The menu choices are really varied. I had the Thai chicken wrap with sweet potato fries which was freshly marked and one of the best wraps I have had. The fries were excellent.
The service, given the number of people, was excellent. Really friendly staff and all the food arrived at the same time and was fresh and hot. Everybody in our party agreed that the food was excellent.
The inside part of the pub is also really nice. Has a good bar feel but also plenty of tables to eat at. They were also showing sport on the two TV's which was drawing a good crowd. I couldn't believe how busy the pub was on a Saturday lunchtime. Obviously a local favourite.
The two local families we met there eat there on a regular basis and love it. We had been travelling with another family for the previous week and we all agreed that is was, by a long way, the best restaurant we ate in during the week. It was also great value for money.
One final plus point. When we arrived, after a two hour drive, the car park was full. The manager came out and pointed both cars to the back of the parking lot and told us to leave the cars there. When we came out they had been moved to proper spaces....good "valet" parking.
We were in the Little Pub for 3 hours catching up with friends and never felt under pressure to leave.
We used to live in Ridgefield. The Little Pub has opened since we left and is a great addition to Ridgefield's many restaurants.
Given how busy it was, and our local friends advised that you normally queue for a table in the evening, it has obviously built great local trade but if you haven't already been I would highly recommend it.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

This is a great spot to eat. The food is always good and your taste buds are always delighted! They do not accept reservations, so either go early or be ready to wait a bit. Also a great lunch spot. They have just opened another Pub in Wilton with the same menu and just as good....

“Love the Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

We've been going to the little pub for over a year. The staff is great and the food is fantastic. Big hits with us are steak friets ( sp?), little pub salad, thanksgiving wrap and sweet potato fries. Love seeing PJ Pacifico play there on Monday nights.

“High hopes dashed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013 via mobile

I have no problem with a lively loud cramped atmoshere as long as food and service are strong. We waited 30 minutes to sit and were escorted to a tented porch in the parking lot. Still I enjoyed my brew and was dying to try the fish and chips. My wife ordered a burger. Well the fish was soggy no crunch and devoid of flavor and the wife wasn't wowed by her burger. It was crowded but not sure if I would go back
