“going down hill”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

we use to love J Timothy's pub atmosphere and food. not any more, on our last visit, it was down hill from the hostess to the waitress, to the food itself. no one was friendly or seemed they wanted to be there. the main dining room smelled of urine and looked as if it hasnt been cleaned forever, the tables were dirty, the sticky plastic table covers are disgusting, the silverware had crusted food from previous diners and the food was overcooked. our waitress couldnt be bothered,to give good service. the best thing on the table was the bread and butter, very sad. glad i didnt waste money on gift cards at Christmas time, will not be returning any time in the near future, unless we hear changes were made.

“Good food and GREAT beer!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

We finally got in to eat. This place is always busy so we tried an early Sunday night at 600. It was still busy but only a 15 minute wait. We did ask our waitress what day was the least busy and she said everyday was busy but the holiday season is really busy and to come by five so we wouldn't have to wait. I had the fish and chips, it was yummy. Fish was cooked just right and the fries had good flavor. My husband had the blue cheese wings and they were dripping with sauce but very good. My two year old was loud and silly like a normal two year old but it was noisy enough that she didn't disturb anyone. She had the childs spaghetti and that was also good. The fireplaces were going which added extra ambiance we enjoyed. The best part of the meal was our German beer. We had a dark fall beer and it reminded me of Guinness.

“Great country dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Staying in Farmington, J Timothy's was recommended by a local friend, and was a great choice, indeed! Arrived without reservations on a weeknight and were surprised to see how busy the place was. We accepted a table in the bar, rather than wait for a table in one of the dining areas. This turned out to be a wise choice and we were better able to have a good conversation. Our server was fun and attentive. All food selections were delicious and the honey gold barbecue wings were worth the trip alone.

“Awesome Wings!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

This place has great wings! The "dirt" wings are the best! They also have great beer duos. When we want really good wings ~ this is where we go!
