“Very Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2011

My wife and I had dinner here last night and thought the food, service and value were all in harmony to make it an enjoyable evening out to dinner. We had not been here in many years, in fact since it was called the Mo-No-Pole, a very popular family-owned landmark since the early 1950's. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, The other diners were a mix of older couples and plenty of twenty and thirty somethings. It was busy both in the dining room and informal bar areas. Service is prompt and friendly which adds to the dining experience. It is an unpretentious restaurant with a wide variety of dining choices ranging from pastas, chicken and fish entrees to rack of lamb and filet mignon, ALL at very reasonable prices. All entrees come with salad or soup and many also come with potato and vegetables. Most entrees are priced under $20.00 and there is nothing on the menu over $29.00 so there is exceptional value here.

The items we ordered were delicious. Clams casino were served piping hot in the pan they were made in. They were large, meaty, and super! My wife had a chicken soup with black-eyed peas that was rich and loaded with vegetables. My entree of cavatappi with bolognese sauce was delicious, with large pieces of steak rather than ground beef. My wife's chicken marsala was also very good. We passed on dessert as the portion sizes are more than ample. We would definitely plan to eat here again.

“Wow! Gourmet Quality where you'd not expect it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2011

My wife and I hadn't been here in many years; in fact since the name had changed more than 15 years ago; and what was once a good little mom and pop home cooked food spot has become a gourmet delight.

I had the chicken confetti which was a marvelously prepared chicken breast smothered in mozzarella cheese and fresh spinach served with mashed potatoes and a steamed vegetable medley. Even the garden salad and the butternut squash appetizer were fantastic.

Service was excellent, ambiance pleasant. A wonderful surprise and we'll definitely be back.

“OK, but definitely not great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2011

A popular restaurant, judging from the many diners on a Tuesday evening, Confetti serves acceptable but undistinguished food in a pleasant enough setting considering its facing a main thoroughfare. My "Chicken Confetti" (a grilled breast with plenty of spinach and covered in melted cheese) was good if not spectacular. My wife's chicken-shrimp-pasta dish was mediocre at best: the chicken tasted as if it were cut-up leftovers from lunch; the pasta was cooked unevenly: some pieces were ok, others undercooked and doughy. The service was very good.

“Great seafood selections”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2011

Confetti has consistently offered fine seafood at moderate prices. In that regard, it has not changed. All seven of us had seafood varying from scallops to sole to ahi tuna. All of us were satisfied and several took portions home. Wine offerings were first rate both by the glass or bottle. We will be going again.
