“Lovely spaces to see the sea (without being blown away by the PE wind)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

I stayed here for one night in November 2012. I had a room with a fantastic sea view that was well appointed. I had stayed at the Radisson in 2011 too - and was impressed with the design of the rooms. It must be said though that while the idea of the loo and shower "cubicles" are a good idea, the upkeep is not being done well.

We used thier conference facilities for two days and I was impressed with the level of service we were provided. The facilities were also great. The bar area was really great - especially catering for those who wanted to get out of the infamous PE wind but still enjoy the view.

The food was average with no real catering for vegetarians.

Room Tip: A room with a sea view is essential

This is an exceptional hotel with newer looking rooms, public areas and grounds. Near all the main points in the city and a great place to stay for an overnight or long stay. Very impressed with this hotel and staff. Has free wi-fi for all guests and free underground and safe, secure parking. A great choice.

I return to PE frequently for all servicing on my motorbike and every trip so far have stayed at the Raddison Blu where the rooms are great and most of all easy access to the "Camelot Spa" located in the hotel.

We stayed here after the Ironman competition on a horrible wet and windy day. The hotel staff were very helpful and allowed us to keep our bikes in our room etc. The room service was very expensive but breakfast the next morning was fantastic and well presented. The hotel was very busy as a result of the race and we had to wait a while for our food to be served.

Fairly small rooms, very modern but cheap furniture. Fantastic views and close to shops. Taxi prices to get to decent restaurants quite high (approx £6 each way). Less than 5 minutes to get to beach. Staff were freindly. Lots of waiting around for rooms to be ready to checkin - saw this every time we passed through the foyer and not much seating. Very little tourist information available from staff

Room Tip: Ask for beach view

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

When we checked on the staff seemed great and on to of things but the promises were not delivered.
Our room was clean and adequately appointed but when you went into the bathroom are where the toilet was the floor was wet and constantly leaked water between the tiles. We discovered the next morning that this is likely from the shower leaking.
When we. checked in we asked for a 5 am wake up call as we had an early flight. We did not receive a wake up call. At the same time as we discussed the wake up call we were told that because we were leaving before the breakfast restaurant would be open we could hang our order on our door knob and we would receive a continental breakfast in our room at the specified time. We did not receive breakfast although the card was gone from our door. We called to ask about it and the reception said they would look into it for us. By the time we had to leave for the airport there was no breakfast and no explanation. Breakfast was part of the room price when we booked
So not a great experience
