There's nothing wrong with the Radisson in PE, it's fore sure the best business hotel in town. Rooms are huge (I had a "busness class room" on 10th floor which was of good size and offered perfect view.

Internet was fast and free, breakfast of good selection and at approx. € 220,00 incl. breakfast correctly priced. It just misses some charm and the service could be faster.

One word - superb.
Front office staff is extremely well trained and really goes for the advertised "100% guest satisfaction".
Rooms are the standard in the new Radissons - free wifi, huge flat-screen tv (which you can connect your HDMI stuff :-) ) and as usually, the bed is excellent.
Room service delivered food was extremely good.
I ordered the Burger, and the beef patty was one of the best I've eaten - for less than the same amount of meet at fast-food parlors.

The views from the hotel are incredible. Due to its location, almost on the beach itself (it takes 3 minutes walking to get to the beach), the views from the bay and Indian Ocean are a bliss - especially watching the sunrise.

I'll definitely stay here again if I come to Port Elizabeth.

Our final destination after a very exhausting 2 week holiday travelling miles every day, this modern city hotel was a welcome location in which to unwind. We had a very nice clean modern room on the 15th floor, with great views, a lovely big comfortable bed, nice bathroom but with the loo in an inadequate glass 'cupboard' giving little privacy, which I'm not crazy about! Good sundeck with outside bar and dining area, and pool. Spent time there chilling out and sampling the local wine. Didn't dine at the hotel but nice buffet breakfast. Very much a business hotel and if you wanted to shop or anything, completely in the middle of nowhere, except the beach was a few minutes walk away so you can't have it all!

We were pleasantly surprised, as were expecting a fairly generic hotel. We stayed here for only one night on our honeymoon, and we were upgraded to a beautiful 'business' room on the 10th floor. There were 180 degree views across the ocean - amazing! There was also a bottle of bubbly and selection of sweet dessert treats waiting for us, and a heart of petals on the bed - very romantic!
Bathroom was lovely, clean a spacious and with an open partition you could lie in the bath and enjoy the ocean view.
Breakfast was delicious, with a huge selection of almost everything you could possibly imagine.
Room service dinner was delicious and great value.

Arriving exhausted after nearly 40 hours of travel, we arrived at the Radisson to find they upgraded our accomodations and gave us an additional discount with breakfast included. All good news. The hotel is fairly new, impeccably clean and the entire staff could not have been more friendly and efficient. The room was not overly large, but completely adequate and the best feature is ALL rooms have an ocean view. Hotel is situated across from the loveliest beaches in Port Elizabeth, suitable for running and strolling. Breakfast buffet is fully stocked, with made to order items. 5 minute walk to Boardwalk and Beach Hotel is right next door, which possess nice veranda for a sunset cocktail. Don't go to the Radisson for lap swimming. It's either a ridiculously small swimming pool or an oversized cold jacuzzi. It is attractive as garden art, not much more. Beautiful deck however off the bar area. We would definitely stay here again, a perfect stay. Excellent concierge service as well.
