This is not an el cheapo hotel. But if your goal is to find a hotel right in downtown New Haven that is on the luxurious side, this hotel is for you. It's a few blocks away from the wonderful Yale Art Gallery, the reason for our stay in New Haven, and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, plus the Yale campus, of course. Our hotel room was spacious, with a great 17th- floor view, and the amenities first-rate. The breakfast is hearty, tasty, and varied. We'll return.
