You cannot visit Mystic without watching the Bridge being raised...it is amazing to see! We spend one afternoon walking along the shops on Main Street and stumbled across the riverwalk and all of the boats lined up waiting for the Bridge to open...40 minutes after each hour while we were there. I will warn you...the signal is very loud when the bridge is starting to be raised. But what a sight. We all loved watching all of the boats go under the bridge and the amazing way the bridge functions! I would highly recommend making it a point to watch this...a trip to mystic would not be complete without it!
