We recently spent a week in Mystic and had lobster at least once a day; as a rule we stick with the local specialties. But I had read about Rice Spice Noodles online and we visited one evening for a change of pace.
How refreshing to enjoy some delicious, rich, spicy Thai food during a week of simple New England fare! We had the drunken noodles, Panang shimp and Railroad Rice all of which were terrific. But the Railroad Rice, served to my six year old in a pineapple half was the hit of the trip! Inside we found fried rice with crab, shrimp, sausage, pineapple, rasins, egg and green onion. He ate every last bite and has let me know that he we're going to be making it for dinner at home!
Service was gracious, the teas and iced coffee is delicious and the menu includes some wonderful choices. We look forward to returning and sampling many more dishes.
